This week's download features Symphony No. 3 by French composer Albert Roussel. Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge commissioned this work for the 50th anniversary of the Boston Symphony while Serge Koussevitzky was music director.

This recording is performed by the Orchestre de Bordeaux Aquitaine under the direction of Roberto Benzi.
