MUTEC is now shipping the MC-1.2 USB audio interface. Based on the latest USB streaming technologies, low jitter audio clocks, and ultra-low noise circuit designs, the MC-1.2 is designed to regenerate and improve USB audio streams'usual audibly. The MC-1.2 enables bi-directional conversions between USB audio streams, AES3, AES3id,and S/P-DIF signals. Signals received at the USB port are converted to fivedigital audio outputs simultaneously, which allows the connection of multiple receivers at the computer. When selecting one of the digital audio inputs, the signal received is converted toa USB audio stream and sent into the computer. The MC-1.2 also works as a USB isolator to decouple noisy computers or music servers from audio equipment. Both models include a wide variety of built-in Lexicon studio-grade reverb, chorus, modulation, and other effects and dbx limiters on the input channels. In addition, the consoles' multi-track USB audio interface allows any VST/AU/AAX/TDM/RTAS plug-ins to be inserted on any input channel, enabling studio plug-ins to be integrated with live performances.
