"I Have a Question!" - Effective Questioning in Rehearsal

Questioning is an effective teaching tool in rehearsal but the nature of the questions merits careful consideration. Questions that elicit reflective thinking can help students become more discriminating by engaging them in analysis and problem solving. The author cites research on teacher questioning techniques and offers suggestions for incorporation into the choral rehearsal context.
