Common Problems (and Solutions) for Developing Saxophonists

In this article, I address three major concerns music teachers often present to me when I work with their saxophone students: tone, intonation, and articulation. After addressing issues concerning equipment, I discuss the likely causes of various problems within these broad categories, then offer practical solutions for the classroom, including many tips and exercises.
