One of the challenges for teachers, who work with middle and high school students in school, worship, or community choruses, is that of the developing adolescent voice. Traditionally, the field of music education has paid more attention to this issue as it affects young males, and less to females, but knowledge of both is important. There are more resources available about male than female voices, but all are potentially helpful. This column looks at some of those resources in print, online, and also in the form of a workshop to be held next summer at the University of Toronto, from July 5 - 8th, 2016.
